Winemaker's Notes:

Mirassou California Pinot Grigio reveals intense aromas and flavors of peach, pear and citrus with crisp, lively acidity create an exceptionally refreshing wine. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with spicy dishes as well as grilled poultry or seafood. Our Pinot Grigio is ready to enjoy immediately upon release and should be able to age in the bottle for one to two years.

Winemaker's Notes:

Picking in the coolest part of the evening allows maximum flavour extraction. Juices are handled to exclude air content and preserve natural fruit flavours. Cool fermentation with aromatic yeast strains emphasise the varietal zest of Sauvignon Blanc. Pale straw with a light green hue, the 2010 Sauvignon Blanc has zesty notes of freshly cut grass and kiwifruit. Lively varietal flavours of gooseberry and stinging nettles tantalise the palate with hints of tropical fruit punch and passionfruit. An abundance of flavours, complemented with refreshing natural and mineral acity.

About Oxford Landing:

Oxford Landing isn't some invented name on a wine label. It's a real place, a real vineyard, that lies alongside the River Murray near the South Australian river town of Waikerie. Wyndham Hill Smith found this place in 1958 and Yalumba purchased the block naming it Oxford Landing after a nearby site where drovers once grazed and watered sheep on the long journey to Adelaide from northern pastoral properties.

Today, Oxford Landing has matured into one of Australia's most innovative viticultural enterprises delivering varietal flavor through a collection of value priced varietal wines.
