Winemaker's Notes:

 A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Syrah, 5% Carmenere and 2% Cabernet Franc.

Color: Clean ruby red with purple shadows.

Nose: Expressive aromas with ripe red fruits like plums, dry figs and notes of black spices.

Mouth: The palate is elegant, supported by a soft structure with fine and delicate tannins. Nice persistence.

Service and Food Pairing: Open and leave to breathe minimum for an hour and serve at 16-18°C. Ideal companion of all red meat, winter soups and of course Barbecue!

Winemaker's Notes:

 Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape that takes its own sweet time, slowly lingering to ripen on the vine. We are rewarded by its reluctance. Overwhelming cherry and vivid plums create a welcome first impression, while touches of green tea leaves and leather nestle themselves among the spicy, saucy fruit. Fourteen months in American barrels have produced touches of melted caramel and white pepper. With well-integrated tannins and a rich and round finish, this wine will be a favorite for years to come.

About Bogle Vineyards:

 Although the Bogle family has been farming since the 1800's, it wasn't until 1968 that the father and son team of Warren and Chris Bogle planted their first 20 acres of wine grapes in Clarksburg, California. Clarksburg is a small farming community nestled in the Sacramento Delta. Today Bogle Vineyards farms over 1,000 acres of wine grapes in the Delta region. While the winery was established ten years after the first grapes were planted, it has grown tremendously along with the vineyards. Bogle Winery is currently producing 100,000 cases of wine. Winemaker Christopher Smith joined the winery in 1992. He sources fruit from some of the best vineyards throughout the State of California and blends that fruit with the best grapes from our Estate Vineyards in Clarksburg.
