Lightly chilled red wines
Cool, refreshing and... red! When we think of chilled wines, sparkling, white and rose come to mind. But deliciously cool wines can be RED as well. There are number of red wines that taste better when served slightly chilled. We don't mean 2 hours in the fridge like a white wine, but 15 minutes or so will do the trick and enhance the flavors of many a light and juicy red. As we head into the end of summer, we cherish the long, warm nights and grilling out back. It's a perfect time to enjoy this style of red wine (in a stylish cup of course) and we've put together a list of our favorites! These reds are low in tannins, with bright acidity and juicy fruit. So go ahead and chill these reds! With those late summer balmy evenings, you'll need it!
