Wine Spectator's Top 100 list
reflects significant trends, recognizes outstanding producers and shines a spotlight on the world's most
successful regions and vintages.
In 2012, the list was selected from more than 17,000 new releases rated in independent blind tastings.
More than 5,500 of these wines earned outstanding or classic ratings (90 points or higher on
Wine Spectator's
100-point scale). In this year's list, 13 countries are represented, and quality remains high, with an average
score of 93 points. We hope that you enjoy this list of exciting values, emerging stars and time-honored
stalwarts.
Note: Many of these wines have already sold out, however several may have not yet been released by
the wineries. In some cases, Wine.com may have a past or recent vintage of the wine available. Quantities
are very limited.
