tuttobene Toscana Rosso IGT 2005
Other Red Blends from Tuscany, Italy
tuttobene is a very pleasant wine with great structure and balance. The nose and palate display ripe fruit, red berries and subtle herbal notes. It is medium to full-bodied with remarkable tannins, yet is also silky with a smooth acidity and a rich, fruity finish. Serve with light dishes, pasta and pizza. tuttobene can also be enjoyed as aperitif.
Blend: 50% Merlot, 30% Canaiolo, 20% Sangiovese
Tenimenti Angelini produces excellent wines from the three main wine regions in Tuscany: Chianti (San Leonino), Montalcino (Val di Suga) and Montepulciano (Tenuta TreRose). Under the careful supervision of Director/Winemaker Mario Calzolari, Angelini has managed to do something that is not easy to accomplish: to capture in a bottle the essence of Tuscany, its sunny days, its warmth and the Mediterranean flavors that go so well with classic Italian dishes.

Had a bottle in Italy - one of the few I can find here that we had. All were great - esp this one. Thanks for carriering it!312/6/2008This wine has the great smell of clay, earth is apparent in the nose of this wine. I did not detect any of the flavors that were described previously... This wine smells like a$$, but is nice to drink and smooth especially with a good NY Strip. I did enjoy it it was not as complex as I had hoped it to be but the finish was nice and it was a good compliment to the meal.13/26/2010The smell and taste is that of 3 day old leftover bamboo shoots from the worst Chinese takeout you could imagine. Undrinkable stain
