Big & Bold
I enjoyed this great buy malbec. I bought it in a store for $11.99, so I feel like I got a great deal. I agree with the manufacturer that the oak is very well integrated. I also like the fruit notes that don't overpower the wine's bite. I'm not picking up the maple finish, which for me is a good thing.
Earthy & Spicy
This is a great spicy red at the price. Black pepper and black cherries came through for me on the tongue.
screw cap wine
This is basically a very tasty, structured Chianti for under $20.
We had this tonight with dinner. This is a very accessible and reasonably priced Malbec. It doesn't have the nose of my favorite cheap Malbec, Broquel 2006, but it's definitely going to become a regular. I had my glass to sip right through dessert, and it pairs well with chocolate.
This really is an amazing value. It bursts with flavor. If you like malbecs, this wine brings all of that wine's characteristics to the table. It has bite, but still manages to have a nice smooth finish. I had never had a stainless steel aged wine; I hope they're all this good. The grape really shines.
This is a deliciously smooth Sangiovese. I had it with some chicken parm and baked zita. It would make a great full bodied, but friendly, wine for a party with multiple palettes. It has just enough bite to keep it from being a cloyingly vanilla exercise.
