Brought it to a Japanese restaurant, went well with the appetizers. Will give it 90 too, but need to take a better tasting note :)

    2012 vintage available for $19.99
Shared this with friends at a Pizza dinner and didn't drink much of it, but did like it quite a bit. Probably 91. Need to try again to give a full review.

    Alamos Malbec 2009
    Sold Out $9.29
    2013 vintage available for $10.99
Deep purple color; pleasant nose; Fruity taste, supple body, modest and balanced tannins. Really easy to drink yet not boring. A knock out value for the price, quite likely the best sub $10 bottle of red I have encountered. Rushed back trying to buy more, but it SOLD OUt! Darn. 90 for sure. (I thought my rating was for the 2008 vintage, which was sold out. So I am ordering more of the 2009 and will update my review). Had the 2009 vintage and think the review is fair.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
    Sold Out $17.99
A balanced and bold taste overall. Signature cab flavor of salty dried plum shows up slightly later among cherry, black berry, and jam. Good bang for the buck. It's probably the cheapest American Cab on wine.com that deserves a solid 90 points.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
    Sold Out $12.99
    2012 vintage available for $13.99
Another solid wine from Chateau Ste. Michelle. Less complex and intense than their Indian Well estate wine, but is actually the best American cab I could find for less than $15 on wine.com. Plum and berry bouquet. Black pepper, cherry, strawberry and rosewood come out clearly in a linear fashion. I use the word linear to mean that the tastes seem to come out one after another, which relates to the perception that the flavors are not quite as intense and simultaneous as some better cabs. A great deal for an American red. Solid 89.

    Eyrie Pinot Gris 2007
    Sold Out $15.29
Wheat grass and cheese toast bouquet typical of Chardonnay. The bouquet is relatively simple and modest. Overall taste is dry interlaced with bouncing dashes of sweet melons and citrus, with smooth and velvety mouth feel. On the first taste, chardonnay flavor comes through pretty strong, but then additional subtleties and complexity opens up, showing caramel, apricot, sweet pickled ginger and pepper. Medium long finish with caramel and fresh white. The overall impression is like a cross-over between a dry Riesling and a Chardonnay. No great surprise, but very pleasant. Good effort from the Eyrie Vineyards in Oregon. 89-90 Points.

    Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2009
    Sold Out $15.29
    2013 vintage available for $19.99
It was quite pleasant, with a strong bouquet of guava, and a lighter taste of passion fruit and a hint of kiwi and apple. Ordered a few more times and tasted with friends on different occasions. Consistent experience: a refreshing, smooth, and fruity white for the summer. 90.

    Dom. de Coussergues Chardonnay/Viognier 2008
    Sold Out $9.99
It tasted very bitter for a Chardonnay, but I personally find French wine a bit more on the bitter side. Maybe people with preference of stronger tannins would like this more than I do. Probably 87.

Saint Clair Vicar's Choice Sauvignon Blanc 2008
    Sold Out $14.79
Typical great example of Marlborough sauvignon blanc with signature passion fruit and kiwi bouquet and taste. Citrus nose. Great pairing with seafood, cheese, or just sipping by itself any day of the year. Third time ordering. 90-91 point. Update: I bought it again, and it is good as usual.

Clos de los Siete Super Red Blend 2007
    Sold Out $17.99
    2010 vintage available for $19.99
Not sure if it is legitimate to compare these reds, but they are some what similar. But the Clos de los Siete Super Red Blend has much longer lasting note leaving more spices and fresher meaty taste contained by berries flavors. Definitely prefer this more. 90-91.
