This wine is a staple in my wine "diet". The quality is always spot on, taste doesn't vary much from vintage to vintage and it goes well with the average dinner. This wine also makes a great wine spritzer for those hot Louisiana evenings.
This is an easy pinot noir to enjoy. It isn't complicated and won't compete with your meal, whether it is cheese and crackers or a grilled steak.
I was amazed by this wine. It is a low price table wine alternative. Yes it has a screw top and no I don't usually buy screw top wines, but I was delightfully surprised by this wine. It isn't as full-bodied as most French Cabs, but again, it makes a nice casual table wine.
I really wish they would produce more of this wine. The flavor and texture is bold. It is one of my favorite wines for the fall season.
