Great value in a Sauvignon Blanc. I have had this wine with and without food and it is always refreshing delicious--nicely balanced and not too fruity. Enjoy it with a variety of Asian foods, cheeses or on its own.
I love this wine. If you like citrusy, grassy strong sauvignon blancs, on the first sip, you will reflexively think "delicious." The flavor is anything but subtle--it's a very full-bodied wine. It accompanied a salmon with dill dish last night and it was perfect. I have also had it with stuffed artichokes previously and it was divine.
screw cap wine
Enjoyed this immensely with a variety of foods from spaghetti bolognese to beef to pizza and mildly sharp cheeses like cheddar. More herbs than fruit. I also tasted a good amount of violet which isn't mentioned in the description above. A good option to some of the popular but overpriced chianti's on the market. This has become my everyday wine.
Not too fruity but more a burst of tobacco and wood with a bit of leather on the finish. My only complaint is that it is a bit thin on the entry and mid-palate.
This has the hallmarks of a traditional Reisling. Different than the description, my experience was a barrel of granny smith apples, a burst of minerals and some melon. The wine had high acidity and a long finish.
