The Godello taste is one that can be quickly acquired. I don't have the vocabulary to decribe it; maybe funky fruit. But dry and crisp. Just not your customary pinot grigio or chardonnay or any other white grapes. Highly recommended for a new experience but your guests might think you were serving them something weird.
This is a perfectly decent rose that I would be happy to be served in a restaurant. I'm not sure it merits an 88 rating. It's a little thin and a little harsh.
If you want a dry, crisp, sparkling white that will please everyone unless they are expecting the best French champagne, this is it.
