My Grampa has thease greapes in his yard as well so it reminded of childhood. Its Rustic and fizzy I and my guest liked it. It may be a little rough on the tummy though
I found it to be very acidic Zinfindel like. For its price its here not worth it though.
Its very strong, rustic and different. It is made from grapes that are the same as in my Grampas backyard. Worth trying though.
Get this insted. Get this instead its more velvety and flavorful. It is similar enough and cost less money. I only buy twice what I consider to be four or five stars.
Did it deliver on what the label said it would yes but barely. Duboeuf makes batter products you should try like there Flurrie
where to start... OK I cooked a steak. Had a sip of this while eating. I could taste the cherries and the raspberry the wine said it had. The only problem is, I had too go through so much acidity to get them followed by an aftertaste of Robatussin and Zinfindel. More importantly, my guest who I have known for more than 15 years, did not like it either and had similar commentary. It's not undrinkable, but I am not buying it again.
Very watery start and Cherryish finish. Not something to my liking.
This wine has a unique style it's worth trying. It gets better as your drink it. It does not taste like a Shiraz more like a Zinfindel but not Zinfindel. I am going to try Smoking Loons' other stuff at Winechateau.com and Wine.com
Good spicy flavor. Gets better as you drink it. Great aftertaste. Nothing but positive things to say about it.
really good. It holds up well. goes good with read meat. It also enhances black pepper.
