This wine was a pleasant surprise to me. The bubbles are perfect and the taste is pleasant. It is a sweeter wine (which I like), but it seemed to go well with a variety of foods. It felt a little cheap to open it soda-bottle-style, but the wine is great. If you want a sweeter sparkling wine, as opposed to the typical dry varieties, this is a good change-of-pace choice.

I was disappointed with this wine. It needed to be chilled more than it probably should for it to taste decent to me. It had an interesting mix of sweetness and earthiness to it. I did not particularly enjoy the earthiness, but I know some people do like it. I would not buy it for myself again, but someone that enjoys coastal Iberian wines with earthy/salty flavors may like it.
A very tasty sweet wine. It really is a pretty color. I think Quady Elysium Black Muscat is better tasting, but this is still good. It doesn't have the full flavor of the Black Muscat, but it is fairly fruity and sweet.
I consider this the best value of any wine I have ever purchased. I have ordered this one three times already (impressive for myself since I have only repeat ordered 2 wines...I like to taste a variety of wines). It has a good balance of dryness and sweetness. The bubbles are long-lasting and strong. It does not taste like a value sparkling wine at all. It tastes like a much more expensive wine. The only thing I do not like now is the new label. Apparently, there must have been issues with it trying to look like Cristal or something because it says a couple times on the label that it is unrelated to Louis Roederer or Cristal. I miss the old gold label.
Very good for the price. However, I think Cristalino Brut Cava is much better and in the same price range. I found it a little too bland. It was nice and bubbly, but it seemed to require a colder than optimal temperature.

I really enjoyed this champagne. If you want a wine that you can actually show off as a genuine 'champagne', this is an affordable choice. However, if I am honest, I have tasted better cheaper sparkling wines. This wine has a nice dryness to it, and not overpowered by sweetness. It definitely falls in line as a very solid traditional sparkling wine (not surprising considering it is a Louis Roederer).
Perhaps I did not have the right expectations, but this is definitely suited to specific tastes. It didn't taste like wine to me, nor did it taste like medicine (as others describe it). I found it to have a very overpowering earthiness and nuttiness to it. The best way I can describe it is it tasted like someone let walnuts and a few pieces of tree bark ferment in a bottle of unfiltered lake water. The aftertaste is powerful, and the nuttiness really comes to the palate. Only buy if you know this is what you want.
I love sweeter wines, and this one is just about perfect. It is very sweet, but still flavorful. The fruitiness definitely stands out. I find it wonderful on it's own, although it goes well with sweet dishes. I will definitely buy another bottle or two.
This wine may be perfectly drinkable to those that enjoy wine with a very prominent alcohol taste. In addition, I could not find any enjoyment in the spicy flavor to the wine. If you enjoy spicy wine, you will probably love this one. So this receives 3 stars because it did not fit my personal tastes.
This is an excellent dessert wine. It is very sweet, but has a good kick to it as well. It holds up very well as a topper for vanilla ice cream, and is sweet enough to stay flavorful when eaten with chocolate. One of my all time favorites.
