Sometimes wines just don't cut it and the Razor's Edge was dull. Not enough flavor, not enough bite, more like a low grade merlot than a great shiraz.
Very drinkable, a very good wine for a mixed dinner party. But it didn't hit me like I thought it would, the nose was very mild and the flavors faded fast. I did however drink the whole bottle, I was thirsty.
One of the best wines you'll find for the price. It's flavorful, great nose, it finish is bold, and it's easy to drink. We'll all wine is easy for me to drink, some just taste better. But for the money it's an A+ for sure.
This had all the makings of a okay bottle of wine, but it turned out so much better. The roundness of the oak, and the clean finish were great. The slight bite and then the burst of flavor, great wine, and I'm cheap so the price is right too.
There is something to be said about a $10 bottle of wine from Chile. I find the wines from this country to be unique and good. If I go to the store and want a wine that I can count on but don't want to spend a million dollars I go with a wine from Chile. This one is no exception from that rule!
