Light & Crisp
Love this wine. Just ordered another case. We have tried many Pinots and this is an easy-drinking wine with or without cheese or other "white wine" meals. Not too sweet; not bitter; not too dry. Right down the middle is fine for me.
We like this wine with just about anything... or alone. Sorry, I know that's not technical.
During dinner the wine's initial mouth feel was like water: very weak. At the end, a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Next day my wife decided to use the leftover wine for cooking. Actually tasted better the day after. Maybe it needed a day to breathe.
Not quite as dry as some others; very good with light, airy dishes, salads. We had it with porcini mushroom ravioli with fresh spinich and mixed mushrooms cooked in butter and olive oil.
Slightly higher preference over the King Estate versions of Pino Gris.
This was liked least over King Estate or WillaKenzie Pinot Gris. We were surprised.
This was considered very good by 4 people in a home wine tasting but not necessarily better than our memories of the King Estate Pinot Gris. Everyone likes both.
