I considered this a decent wine....falling short in most areas. The fruit is big and lush, but the finish is short and tannins don't blend well with the fruit.

This wine has a smooth light red color. all around this wine is smooth. taste of cherry, spice, stone, plum, blackberry, black currant, red currant. This wine has a bold Merlot taste with hints of cab franc throughout. The tannins are soft, which makes this an everyday value wine. Definitely a wine to have with dinner.

I picked this wine up today, to have before dinner. I will start by saying this bottle has great eye appeal. I love the label, and tall slender bottle. The nose has hints of tangerine, lemon, lime, lemon grass. Broadbent has a taste of lemon and lime right off the bat. In the middle of the palate, I can taste an earthy, grass followed by more lime. Soft finish! overall, a good wine for a warm summer day. After writing this review I made a lemon pesto chicken. This wine was amazing with this dish!
