Domaine Serene Evenstad Reserve Pinot Noir 2008

Delicious easy pinot lacks tannins but the fruity dance on the tongue and higjer alcohol content make it sheer joy to drink. Make sure to let it sit in a large mouth wine glass while you imbibe slowly...notice how the floral and spice notes evolve.

Sanford Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2008

Drinkable and pleasing as its bouquet opens up and it amazed almost like two different pinots within 15 minutes of a pour in a big open mouth wine glass. Very deep red color and a fantastic introduction to pinot noir. Velvety on the tongue as you move through the bottle but tannins never evolve.

Laetitia Les Galets Pinot Noir 2007

Big bright floral boquet followed quickly by leather and slight hints of oak. Can't get over the boquet couldnt stop drinking the deep bergundy velvet. Gave 4 stars because tannins were absent but its so bright fruity and smooth at 14.9% alcohol a fun fun compliment with dessert (we had it with a butter cake smothered in salted caramel buttercream frosting) but could imagine it with red meats yummy! Glad I had 2 bottles wish I had bought a few more, maybe a few more years of aging would evolve some tannnins??

Amazing fruit that stays strong throughout ends with a tangy thrill and solid tannins. Complimented my clams linguinie perfectly but was a winner by itself as I made dinner ;)

I actually bought this y accident thinking it was a pinot noir! A fantastic experience with brunch definately earned its rating! Deliciously fruity with such supple oak, tannins and that amazing hint of tobacco...bought 2 more to store ;) Recommended as a delicious close cousin of pinot noir.

W.H. Smith Maritime Vineyard Pinot Noir 2007

Wow forgot what the rating was! DISSAPOINTED was weak not bold and hardly knew it was made with grapes lacked everything, pretty much the worste pinot I have ever had! Lucky we had a big and bold meal so there was no competition...mad I paid this much though. Don't bother :(
