Oregon's Pinot Noirs are great...and this one is no exception. And this one in particular makes me proud to be in the Willamette Valley. Swirl it in your glass for a wonderfully full aroma, bring it into the mouth for a great spicy flavor with berry-cherry back-up. This finishes long and bright.
This wine is bold and rich, yet infinitely subtle. Although I'm usually more partial to the notes sung by red wines, this complex little white was a true treat! Definitely a must-have!

Wonderfully refreshing, this has a fabulous light and creamy flavor. Very delicate, yet a crisp, berry flavor comes through! Definitely worth getting again. Please be careful with this one though - it has so much sparkle...so many bubbles...it POPS! when you open it. There can be some big-time overflow! :)
Such a fine, fine wine! This one is great even as you open the bottle, with a pepper/smoke flavor in the air. Decanting helps, but drinking right after opening isn't a terrible thing. It has a wonderful fruity, berry flavor with a pepper bite, and holds to the palate well for a fine finish.
I don't usually give 5s - a wine has to be beyond special for that (in other words, a 4 is my 5...a 5 is my oh-my-word 10). But, well, I love things out of the Barossa Valley to begin with - they just have that wining taste somehow, but for the PRICE, this wine is incredible. If I were to try it without knowing the price, I would figure it had cost at least $40-$60 a bottle!! Now, how right/wrong is THAT? The nose on this is evident the moment you open the bottle. The taste is an immediate explosion in the mouth, with plenty of earth flavor accompanied by the fruits we all want. The finish lingers just enough, with a round, full feel. What's not to like about a wine that's inexpensive and feels like a million bucks? :)
Chewy indeed! This is so full and fleshy, I absolutely loved it! A wine club selection, we opened this last night, and I was excited as soon as the cork came out of the bottle - a great aroma. Everything in the description is true, taste-wise...and then some. This has a complex and well balanced taste and a finish that will just leave you happy and wanting more. Definitely something I will buy again.
I'm very surprised at the rave reviews for this one. I'll admit that it was a bit more fresh of flavor than most, which was pleasant - but this wasn't bubbly at all, it didn't even QUITE sparkle, and I like a champagne to have some bubble to it. This didn't have enough bubble to push at the cork, we had a terrible time getting the cork to move...and a champagne cork should POP! Not something I'll be looking for again, I'm afraid.
As you have probably noticed, I love the Australian reds, and am particularly partial to the Barossa Valley. This is an excellent example of the very best the Barossa Valley has to offer, and at the price, I can't help but suggest you buy several bottles if at all possible. Very fruity with more than a hint of spice, it has a full-bodied and earthy backbone. You'll enjoy this from start to fine, fine finish!
This has a wonderful color and a tasty aroma on the pour. Very nice balance of flavor, although it improves with air, so I suggest decanting prior to drinking. The finish tingles nicely on the tongue. I would suggest this with anything from steak to pasta.
I am surprised that the previous reviewer was less impressed on this one. I found this to be one of my favorite Cabs of all time. I am very sparing with my 5 star ratings, and I adored this Cab...to the degree that I just bought another bottle today. We drank this for my birthday this weekend (we did a tasting assortment), and this was the best of the best of the day - very complex and intense, with an incredible balance of fruit and spice, and a fabulous finish. Boy, did I have a happy tongue with this one! :)
