Greg Norman Estates Limestone Coast Shiraz 2010
    Sold Out $15.99
    2012 vintage available for $14.99
    Style: Earth & Spicy
The first two bottles of this wine - one from the late 90s and another from 2003 - were outstanding. This 2010 was underwhelming. Great color, but the bouquet was plum and a little pepper...and it took 2 hours in the decanter and continual swirling to get that much. I liked the front attack, which showed some blackberry and plum but not much action on the mid-palate and disappeared quickly. It may need 3-5 more years as it was a little tight.

    Chateau Fombrauge 2004
    Sold Out $38.99
    2007 vintage available for $38.99
    Style: Earth & Spicy
Somewhat meaty and earthy on the nose, some notes of spice, mushroom and black cherry. Tasted cherries in the background, with some raw broccoli and forest floor. Ripe tannins. Drinks well and offers a 30-45 sec finish. Not bad....would buy again.

Chateau Sainte Colombe Cotes de Castillon 2005
    Sold Out $14.99
    2006 vintage available for $12.99
    Style: Big & Bold
Nice dark ruby color. Expressive but not overpowering bouquet with roses, tobacco and dark cherries. Slightly fruity and dry on the palate. Crisp. Good food wine, try with dark chocolate. Still wound pretty tight, this one will be develop and be better in 5 years. A good value.

    Buena Vista Carneros Chardonnay 2009
    Sold Out $19.99
    2011 vintage available for $19.99
    Style: Light & Fruity
Bright and citrusy on the nose, with elements of almonds and not too much oak. This wine's attack was surprisingly muted, some notes of apple and lemon and not hot and dry. The alcohol is not pronounced; this is a light wine that finishes short. Nice easy drinking but not tremendously complex.
