Perhaps I opened it too young or perhaps I should have aerated it, but no matter how hard I tried I could not get over the bitterness. An overly tannic and acidic mouth made me cringe with every sip. Could barely make out the fruit. I tried it again after 20 minutes and it was no better. A powerful and intense experience, but not in the good way.
A fun wine as Moscato d'Asti should be. Pleasant sweetness with a hint of honey. A bit too light to the point where it almost tastes slightly watered down. Can't go wrong with this but the Santa Vittoria Moscato d'Asti 2011 is still my favorite.
Light. Fun. Not cloyingly sweet. Peaches.
An intense, powerful, sweet experience. Raisins with honey and chocolate. Somewhat thick consistency. Drink slowly & savor.
