Very nice. Served it at a dinner party and everyone remarked on how much they enjoyed it.
Perfectly ordinary. If you like pinot grigio, this will do.
The only thing special about this light white is that it's totally inoffensive. You sip, you don't wrinkle your nose, you don't wish you hadn't twisted off the screw cap, but you also don't taste anything special. So you say, "hmm, nice," give up any desire for complexity, and appreciate your ability to enjoy the simple things of life.
It's light and inoffensive -- not great but not bad either -- and it's cheap.
There were three of us. We sipped; we gave each other disappointed looks; we poured the rest down the drain.
I give this one three stars on the basis of taste -- it's a perfectly pleasant light white with little in the way of complexity. It isn't great, but there's nothing at all wrong with it. I certainly prefer it to some expensive, oaky California chardonnay. The fourth star is in appreciation of the low price.
Very nice, but nothing special. I won't buy it again.
It was fine: crisp, clean, medium body. None of that heavy oaky vanilla butter I hate hate hate in "great" California chardonnays. That's the good news. The bad news is that it now appears wine.com has sold out of this one.
wine.com wants me to review this wine, so what to say? It's good. I like it. But I'm still searching ev'ry whichaway for a great wine in this price range, and while very nice, this wine isn't it.
