The 2011 really had its groove on... this 2012 is nothing like the 2011 and will really come up short for those who are expecting anything like the 2011. My first bottle of 9 was very bland and tasteless compared to the powerhouse 2011. With that said, maybe this is more like a typical $20 Pinot that tastes a bit like the 2nd cup of tea made from a used tea bag.
This may be one of the worst wines I've tryed since shopping the past 5 years with wine.com. RP must have spent too much time at the barrel to give a rating of 90 for this horrible wine. This wine is no bargain at all... you will need to dump it down the drain as I did.
For once I agree with Parker's rating... this pleasure in a bottle is worth every penny... although Wine.com has jacked up the price by $5 a bottle since the customer reviews have been good.
