Actually, 3.25 stars. On the nose, the first thing I get is toasted oakiness, which I didn't very much enjoy. It was not too vibrant, but still was easy to pick. There are also some black fruits going on. Blackberry, a hint of blueberry, a hint of black licorice. There is also some heat coming through. There is also a hint of sweet tobacco! Midpalate, it is dry. It is very consistent to what I get on the nose. There are blackberrys and a hint of black licorice going on. Finish, this wine lingers in my mouth. It has a considerably pleasant long finish with some black fruits dancing on my palate and all over my mouth. It also has smooth and polished clean tannins. This is not a full-bodied bottle of wine. I would say medium to full bodied. It is well made and balanced and well put together. Bottled at 13.5%. However, I must disagree with RP (my favorite wine critic) when he scored this 95 pts. I am 91 on this effort. I really liked it. It is a sold bottle of wine, but 95 is way too high for this effort. Happy drinking!

Actually, 3.5 stars. Color, this wine has a clean nice light color. On the nose, I am picking some tropical fruits, some floral aromas going on, lime and limon. Midpalate, it is very clean, very crisp, fresh. This wine indeed has a soled character. Finish, not really long, but smooth and nice. This wine is well made and balanced. For $7.99 this is the way to go. I always say Portugal is the way to go for quality vs price. I am 89+ on this effort. This wine is bottled at 10%. Happy drinking!

This is a decent, OK, not wow bottle of wine. Clearly it is way overrated. I don't see how RP scored this wine 96. It is well made and balanced, but 96 is huge (very huge) score! I am 91 on this effort. The color is not appealing.
