Big fan of the Dr. Loosen rieslings. Great value wines. Not the best you'll get from Germany, btu worht every penny.
The Liar's Dice Zin is my go-to Zin for everyday drinking. Great value wine when you can get it on sale. Should be able to find it for under $15 (sorry wine.com). Standard Sonoma Country Zin - though not a huge fruit bomb.
I am always worried about pinots under $20. This is a great value wine. Very delightful, especially for the price. Typical Sonoma Pinot, big fruit taste up front, I get cherries and vanilla, nice lingering aftertaste (though a little strong). I'll buy this again.
I was a little weary of an Australian Riesling. After taking 3 sips of this wine, I will NEVER have another Austrailian Riesling. How did this get 93 points? Or should I say, how much did they pay for that rating?
Rather disappointed in this one, but fortunately purchased on sale. Lacked the character and smoothness a $40 wine should have. Maybe needs to age a little more...
Well balanced, not too bold, easy drinking
A bold zin, excellent value. Have had it numerous times and continues to do the trick.
Very disappointing, though ok for the price. The lemongrass is quite powerful with a bitter bit. Difficult to understand WE's rating and review.
Was very surprised by this one. Very tropical on the nose with a very slight tart aftertaste common to the region's SBs. Excellent wine we had with chicken, but would probably go very well with seafood too.
