This is a good Aussie Shiraz that is a little too peppery for my taste but is worth the price charged.
I have had this wine for several years and it is a very dependable Aussie. Not too dry and suits most tastes. Not big and bold but a nice everyday wine. I can buy it at home a little less than the regular price so I buy a few bottles when it is on sale.
This is a great wine. It is a good expression of the premier cru but at a fraction of the price.
If you have not , pick up a couple of bottles of Yalumba or Kim Crawford un-oaked and serve them to your Savignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio drinkers. They will love them.
I have purchased this twice and find it to be a soft white that gives a good account of the varietials form which it is made. A good complement to a Savignon Blanc for a tasting.
All the Ylumba Y -series wines have been good and this is no exception.
This is a very good wine, but not a lot better than others that are 50% less expensive.
Another very good Aussie blend for the money. Better than the straight Shiraz
Recently purchased this wine due to interest in the blend. Served it to family and got very good responses from Chard and Pinot drinkers alike.
