Love the cherry nose! This wine tastes of nice ripe fruit. Has flavors of blackberry and plum with a bit of chocolate and leather, too. Lots of finesse finishing with soft tannins. A lot of wine for the price. Really good QPR.
A gift for Zin-fans: ZINFANDELIC pays tribute to the quintessential California wine, Zinfandel. The label and tote artwork capture the rock posters from California's cultural movement of the 1960s. ...

A friend gave this to me as a birthday gift. Everywhere I go people dig this 2 bottle carry bag. A real 70's vibe like Peter Max or something. Wine was great, really great, too, and long gone!! But I still use the bag!
I try always to keep a bottle chilled in the fridge. This is a great value. Crisp and light it pairs amazingly with carry-out Chinese, esp. grilled or fried shrimp. Consistently very good.
I liked the earthiness of this Old Vine Zinfandel. Has a rustic elegance. Like it with spaghetti in red meat sauce.
Lemon yellow in the glass. Citrus nose with some honeysuckle. Smooth with oaky nuance and slightly buttery on the palatte, finishing off with a cleansing lemon zest note. Nice with balanced flavors good with buttery pasta or by itself.
Good cabernet character: ripe fruits of cherry, plum, some cedar, and touch of vanilla. Nice concentration, soft tannins, long finish. Wine Spots is a fine Napa cab that's well-balanced and drinking well.
Medium red brick color; very nice flavors spicy with plum, tart black fruit, and charcoal on the palate. Very smooth, resolved tannins, medium long finish, really delicious! This Syrah was a good food pairing with grilled steak.
A standout Napa cab, intense fruit, long lingering flavors and hefty tannins requiring a suitable match on the plate or long cellaring - or both! I prefer Phelp's Insignia, but only marginally, and how often do you get the choice? Good value for this quality.
This is one of my benchmark California reds. Consistently good year upon year, I measure virtually every other California red against this standard. Oustanding quality!
I like Moneterey Chardonnay and this one didn’t disappoint. A pretty nose of honeysuckle and pineapple and bright fruit in the glass. Crisp on the palette with lush peach and just a touch of oak, nicely balanced. Great before and during dinner!
