Smooth & Supple
A very nice well rounded red blend from Portugal. Will buy more.
Light & Crisp
Was motivated to try this wine after meeting a work collegue who's family grows grapes for this label. Glad I did, a nice, fresh, crisp everyday white wine to enjoy.
Light & Fruity
First time trying this varietal. What a treat! You can tell its an Italian wine, but its maybe a little sweeter and slightly less of the chianti type afterkick. Would serve with any Italian red or vegetable based food.
Rich & Creamy
First time trying varietal Marsanne, and what a treat it was. Much more lush, rich and creamy then I expected. This would be a great alternative to rich chardonnay's, and the price is great too!
Smooth & Supple
This recent wine club selection is just excellent. Very elegant, smooth and full of cab flavor. I was surprised for a Washington State wine.
Big & Bold
First time trying this grape as a varital. A beautiful big and bold lucious wine. Amazing color and flavor complexity. I am now a big fan of Carmenere.
This bottle started big with intense flavors of licorace, spices and leather, but mellowed out a little as we worked through it. Not as elegant as I might have expected from this merlot centered wine.
Upon opening, I knew this was a special bottle. The color and smell on the cork was beautiful, and the color into the glass from the first pour was dark and luxurious. Received this to sample as a wine club offering (though the notice said we were supposed to receive the 06) and was not dissapointed. This was a wonderful yummy bottle of Syrah. A dark, bold wonderful invasion of the senses. Very complex array or smells and tastes that evolved over time. Just sumptious!
Tried this after a conversation with a friend regarding different kinds of white wines (alternatives to chardonnay and sauvignon blanc) from around the world. I was not familiar with the Verdejo variety previously, but my friend encouraged me to try it. This Naia is a wonderful fresh citrus'y example of the variety (thanks wine.com for carrying this). Enjoyed this as my evening sipper over two days. Would put it in the same category as an Argentine Torrontas and the other Spanish white, Albarino. Whats not to like!
