Like eating a plum on a warm summer day lightly sprinkled with pepper. At this price, it's worth getting a couple bottles. The age on this one shows though - store upright for at least a couple of hours and then decant.
Fruity & Smooth
Thick, smooth, and sweet. The honey character from the Muscat definitely comes through. This bottle would be best enjoyed if shared.
I don't remember what in particular I liked about this wine, but I do know that I liked it enough to add to my list of wines that I liked enough to write down because I want to buy it again.
Earthy & Spicy
This wine was named appropriately - definitely has layers, which range from cherry to tobacco. I think it's more earthy and spicy than smooth, but not overly so. Long finish. Overall, pretty versatile - would make a good table wine. I'll buy it again.
Big & Bold
Dark and complex. This is a serious wine.
Light & Fruity
This is one worth stocking up on. Great to have on hand for impromptu dinner guests, watching TV on a Tuesday night, or an afternoon in the park. This isn't a big bold Cab, but for under 9 bucks with a 91 rating, it's pretty awesome. Plus it's green so you can feel good about drinking it.
I don't drink white wines often, but I loved the Chateau St Michelle Eroica Riesling 2008 so thought I'd explore other regions that produce the varietal. I was not a fan of Petaluma, definitely more on the on the dry side than I expected.
Earthy & Spicy
Light, earthy and smokey.
