I had an earlier vintage several years ago and figured I would give it a try since it was on sale. I'm always worried about a Pinot under $20 (and in this case under $15). This proves why. It had very little character, a bit fruity on the front, but totally drops off and leaves a weak aftertaste in the end. Not sure if this was a shipping issue or the wine just isn't that good. Will not buy again.
Pretty decent Pinot. Lot of vanilla. I ahve seen this wine popping up for frequently at the local stores.
Big & Bold
Got this on on sale for under 12 and would then consider it a very solid value wine. Pretty hefty malbec, strong on the fruit. However, you can get much better Malbecs at the regular price.
Really liked this one and was able to get it for under $18. Has a decent amount of character for an under $20 bottle from Bordeaux. Went very well with a brisket we made. Will definitely get this one again when the on sale.
relatively unimpressive. A bit harsh, lacked character.
Got this for $24 and consider it an amazing deal. Pretty decent vintage port, on the fruiter side. Well worth the price.
Big & Bold
A heavy, almost harsh cab without any complexity. Pretty disappointing.
Light & Crisp
A great wine for the value. Pretty crisp, a little peachy with a suttle petrol taste common in many Mosel Rieslings. Will be buying more of this one.
Smooth start but not a lot of complexity to it, so not sure abou the wine news review. Again, could be a wine.com delivery issue. A little spicy at the end, but would have been upset if I hadn't gotten the 43% off sale price. Additionally, not a big french pinot fan, so could also impact my opinion (perfer west coast).
On the tart side, not terribly easy finish, but drinkable. Should be able to get under $10, which makes it a little more attractive.
