Boxes are back! We have this box sitting in our fridge and while cooking dinner I just use the tap to pour myself a glass of this wine - crisp, grassy, grapefruit-y Sauvignon Blanc. Well balanced and fresh every night, even after a week. This is the perfect wine to keep stocked in your fridge this summer. Great for warm weather, with seafood - 4 bottles worth of wine in here! Can't beat it!
This is everything I love about Barbera - concentrated red fruits, dusty tannins, excellent acidity and a lingering finish. Everything is in balance and it's a great match for many foods.
This is definitely not a cocktail wine - it is a food wine all the way. Uplifting on the palate, due to its excellent acidity, with black fruit and solid tannins. It is the kind of wine that is great for everyday drinking - with food.
so 3 stars for the wine, with an extra star for packaging. What a perfect wine for parties, BBQs, etc. It is not too big, but holds 4 bottles of wine. Juicy, red wine that tastes great with anything off the grill. Chill it a bit first, then have the wine of the party.
We were quite impressed when we tasted this sparkling Chardonnay. Well-balanced, medium-bodied, good bubbles and good fruit make this easy drinking, great with food, and an excellent wine to enjoy while watching the wallet.
hands down, one of my favorite white wines. It has layers of flavors and aromas - floral, mineral, stone fruits... and it's refreshing but with a really lovely texture. Fantastic with seafood or just on its own.
I love this wine - it's fresh & floral and everything an albarino should be, but with a California twist. Havens was one of the first to plant the grape here in CA. It's refreshing acidity is backed by delicious stone fruits and an almost creamy texture on the finish.
A medium-bodied red, with those Australian notes of blueberry jam, but backed by really good spice and structure. The viognier adds a wonderful aromatic kick.
Givry, a region in the Cote Chalonnais just south of Cote d'Or is known for reds. This wine is an excellent example of what kind of value you can get in Burgundy. Delicious wild berry fruits, bright acid, a smoky undertone and soft tannins make this wine a perfect fall selection. I'd pair it with anything that has mushrooms, chicken, salmon or a duck with a fruit sauce. Great finish, too.
Liked this wine a lot, would easily drink it on its own as pairing food is more difficult. While balanced, it is a big and jammy wine, with lots of dark fruit and juicy berry flavors. Not too many tannins or apparent acid. What you'd call fruit forward. But like I said, really tasty.
