I like the way Jordan produces their Chardonnay, in more European style, very crisp and elegant without heavy oak finish.
This wine starts with bright fruit, but the finish was short and lacking in my opinion. I would consider this an average wine without the depth, unlike Schild Estate's shiraz.
La Spinetta wines continue to impress me (this one, Barbera Ca Di Pian 06', Il Nero di Casanova 06'). The initial is very refined with red berries. There are subtle sweet spices that lure you to more complexity at the end. For the price, this is closer to 4.5.
Great wine for the price! Tasty coat of vanilla and dark jam. With a bit of sweetness, a hint of coffee and tobacco provides richness to the end.
I purchased a case at reduced pricing, and it turns out this is an exceptional everyday wine. It opens with earthy berry notes, and the end is spicy smooth.
This one decanted for a couple hours. Opens with dark raisin flavor, transitions to bold tanins and spice. Definitely drinkable. Bought at a good price.
This is my personal taste, but I thought the wine lacked character. I tasted lead pencil and overpowering acidity.
I just purchased a case. Great for a party. This is a simple chardonnay for everyday drinking. The wine has subtle fruitiness and a hint of oak.
Mollydooker does it again with this beautiful cab. A lush coat of dark fruit leads into a smooth, refined finish. I want more!
A beautiful blend that presents soft fruit, and carries a dark, rich intensity to finish. I love this wine!
