It was a big powerful wine with medium complexity. Definitely needs 5 to 10 years in the bottle. Lots of potential.

The weirdest thing about this wine was the first smell I got from the nose. Don't think I'm crazy but the first smell was McDonald's french fries. At first I thought this wine was harsh and lacked depth, but after it opened up I could see it's potential. The wine definitely needs 5 to 10 years in the bottle and it's high alcohol content (15%) was a little much. Overall I thought it was a good wine but not the number one wine. I prefer the Don Melchor.
