Getting older and realizing life is too short to not learn about and sample fine wine. I am particulalry interested in reds from Bordeaux and my wish list reflects that. I'll paint somebodies house for a bottle of Petrus! I am reading Robert Parker's book on the Consumer's Guide to Bordeaux. What a tome but what fun. Just bought a Wine Cave and am taking my time filling it up with gems. Just hope I live long enought to enjoy them when they are mature. I haven't yet matured, so why rush the wine?
Wine has the history of the world in every whiff and every sip. The splendor of all that ever was emerges from each bottle of well made wine.
