I grew up in San Francisco and wine was always a part of family dinner. I have what my mom calls a "California palate", but my husband is trying to educate me on the merits of the subtleties of European-style wines. I no longer live in the Bay Area, but I try to stay active in local wine events, even hosting some of my own.
I enjoy sharing wine and wine experiences. I love helping wine-novices (and even self-proclaimed wine haters) discover wines they can enjoy without the pretentious bull *%$#.
