Perfect summer drink's Product Reviews

  • MacRostie Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2012
    Sold Out $26.99
    2013 vintage available for $19.99
    Style: Rich & Creamy
Let me start by explaining that, while I like the buttery taste of an oaked Chardonnay, I don't like the oak taste. I have tried unoaked Chardonnays, but they are too acidic. For me, this ended up being the best Chardonnay. It has enough of the buttery taste but none of the oak taste. It's a smooth, light drink that's perfect to me. I would like to classify it as light and creamy, but that's not a choice.

  • Giesen Sauvignon Blanc 2013
    Sold Out $14.99
    2014 vintage available for $14.99
    Style: Light & Crisp
This is ok for the price, but there are Sauvignon Blanc's within a few dollar price range that are better. If you're looking for a Sauvignon Blanc that is smooth but still has a slight citrus taste, this is a good choice. If you want the strong citrus taste of the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc's, I would skip this one.

  • Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2013
    Sold Out $19.99
    Style: Light & Crisp
I've tried a number of Sauvignon Blanc's. I really like the citrus flavor of a good Sauvignon Blanc. Sadly, a lot of the Sauvignon Blanc's I've really enjoyed seem to be available only for short periods. The Kim Crawford is one that is consistently available at a reasonable price and is consistently flavorful. It has the strong citrus flavor I so love in a Sauvignon Blanc. I still try others, but I keep returning to the Kim Crawford. In my opinion, it's the best in its price range.
