Chinese, Duck, Beef
Old vine zinfandel is definitely addictive; I personally love that hint of earth and that “old vine” taste. Friend of mine told me “Zinfandelic pairs good with Chinese food”; I was skeptical…but NOW I’m a believer. We had roasted duck, black pepper beef and eggplant with basil. They went effortlessly well together with Zinfandelic. It is rich, well balanced and that hint of earth…I wish I can quit you!
Smooth & Supple
This is my all time favorite wine to pair with my new-found love; Moroccan Chicken Tajian. I was afraid all the spices in the dish will over-power the wine, but surprisingly they mingle perfectly together! It is smooth and easy to drink, taste great with foods or by itself; the vanilla and cherry tones…they just linger…yum
