Had never had a good wine! All my life into my 40's then bam my grown son told me to just dive in and try something, pick one kind and experience it and that I have :)
I have made a wine cellar in my basement in a bluestone room where the temp is never over 55 degrees. I have found all this out AFTER I decided to use the old food storage room, dumb luck! The wines I have stored there for 6 months to 2 years have always been the perfect serving temp and perfect through the whole bottle. I am a bit impulsive deciding quickly on a meal and deciding which dusty bottle laying on its side will be "the one".
OMG its fun to celebrate, whatever, and know that I helped give this bottle added taste because I also aged it!
Love flowers, need to take some trips including the California vineyards with a nice man.
Enjoying some "golden years", before I get old.
I have raised myself up on the finest of wines, that being pinot noir. Delicious ripe fruit and velvet tannins accented by oak with just the right overall balance and fruit fizz. Surely God's greatest creation, the grape.
