Biography:
Living in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, I get ample opportunity to enjoy our local Pinots (and, boy, do I!). I also have a great "wine lady" close by...but it's always nice to branch out and find more. I have found the reviews here to be very helpful and decided the least I could do was give back and contribute, since some of the best wine I've gotten has been because of the great things I've read! - Diane (an Oregon Wine Lover!)

Ponzi Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2006

Oregon's Pinot Noirs are great...and this one is no exception. And this one in particular makes me proud to be in the Willamette Valley. Swirl it in your glass for a wonderfully full aroma, bring it into the mouth for a great spicy flavor with berry-cherry back-up. This finishes long and bright.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Eroica Riesling 2006
Item No. 90972
This wine is bold and rich, yet infinitely subtle. Although I'm usually more partial to the notes sung by red wines, this complex little white was a true treat! Definitely a must-have!

Wonderfully refreshing, this has a fabulous light and creamy flavor. Very delicate, yet a crisp, berry flavor comes through! Definitely worth getting again. Please be careful with this one though - it has so much sparkle...so many bubbles...it POPS! when you open it. There can be some big-time overflow! :)
