Biography:
Never been a beer drinker but fell in love with wine about 15 years ago. Now learning something new about wine everyday. collecting it.... drinking it.... loving every second of it....
What I like about wine:

Reds, big/bold and occasional white have been my passion, atleast lately. I have said : The intermediate stage between socialism and capitalism is alcoholism. I love pairing. Sipping wine with food and around fire with friends will always make my evening.

This wine vintage of 2006 was my favorite and so is this. Oak, fruid and black pepper flavors are excellent. low in acid and tannins. I am going to keep two bottles in cellar to mature more.

Ladera Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

I tried Ladera first time vising a local restaurent in Nashville, TN. Exact vintage and my evening with friends was wonderful. Waiter had to decant it for 45 minutes. So did I at home. I think it mellowed out after 45 minutes well. I have to admit, I did try right after opening the bottle and wasn't happy. I have some more than 3 in cellar and will continue to enjoy it until it lasts.

Kangarilla Cab 2006 is one of my favorite cabs. This vintage continues the tradition. I just wish I can find some more from 2006.
