Fruity & Smooth
This has become my girlfriend's and my favorite wine for sitting on the patio on a warm summer's eve. Not as tart as a Sauv Blanc, but crisp, interesting and refreshing without all of the vanilla/butter overtones of overly-oaked Chards. I think the Joel Gott Chard is superior to other California & Oregon unoaked Chards I've tried.
Earth & Spicy
Wow, this was good! Inky, chewy, expressive, unique,
. Excellent value rivaling much more expensive wines of different varieties.
Smooth & Supple
This is a lovely lower-priced Oregon Pinot that works for everyday dinners. It has enough substance to differentiate from the entry-level Pinots at only a 10-20% premium.
