Biography:
I owned and operated a vineyard with 5700 Riesling vines for 13 years. It was originally intended as something I would do in retirement. It was a great relief when I sold it!
What I like about wine:

Wine can be a delicious, relaxing drink that compliments the flavor of most foods.

Columbia Crest Two Vines Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Normally we are not fans of blends, we prefer pure vinifera with some (expensive) exceptions. This blend is a pleasant surprise, it is really quite good.

This is an excellent Cabernet at any price. At this price it is a bargain, great Cabernet flavor, good body, just the right amount of tannin. This is one of the best of the viniferas.
