Larry and Julie met on 5 August 2006 in Hampton, VA. Although Jules had always had the idea that she shouldn't meet her match in a bar, she had noticed Larry on several occasions on the Deck at Marker 20 in the waterfront community of Hampton. He was always alone, had a couple of beers and left early. All good signs unless he was leaving early for relationship reasons... well, after several months of this, Jules decided she had to make a move and when her friend and neighbor, Bill, struck up a conversation with Larry, she knew it was her time. When Bill left for the bar, she slid right in - made sure all was right with Larry's world - and they've been inseparable since. Larry proposed to Jules on the Eve of 2007 and they plan to wed September 20, 2008 at Ocracoke Island, NC. Just goes to show you that regardless of the circumstances and all those scripts you have written for yourself, if it feels right – go for it!
