beachscrat's Product Reviews
Big bodaciously dark berries backed with a solid wall of oaky toastyness. Solid, decadent, zin.
Maybe a little closer to a Cabernet in terms of sophistication. Starts out a bit dry, but after some breathing it gets nice and round, smooth and subtle. Perfectly balanced. Fear not Ravenswood lovers, this one is not so smooth to be boring. Do some double blind testing with some spendy Napa Cabs and watch the jaws drop when this wine is revealed.
Starts out with some ripe sticky pear. Then moves softly into into some butter and finishes heavily with light toasted oak.
