Not your typical wine snob. Was stationed in Northern Italy (Veneto), then in Southern Belgium, then in Monterey, CA...you could say I've lived in the best places to get to know "real" wines that real people would drink. Not a fan of wine that I have to wait for, so I'm not a collector. I also believe that you should have a $2 bottle for enemies (and cooking), a $10 bottle for acquaintances, and a $20 bottle for good friends in your house at all times. If it cost you more than $30 off the shelf, you paid too much.
- Some subtlety that you have to have another sip to get. - Wine is the perfect choice for an economist - maximize taste, minimize cost, and infinite samples out there to test.
