Grew up in the Walla Walla (Washington state) valley. Didn't get turned on to wine until I was about 29 years old.
I like both the social as well as the intellectual aspects of wine. I love how sharing a glass (or bottle) of wine can bring people closer together. I also enjoy the thinking part of drinking wine: its nose, how it breathes, the taste on the tongue.
