A couple of my friends asked me to list my favorite bottles under $20
  • Root 1 Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
    Sold Out $8.29
    2012 vintage available for $12.99
There's something about Chile's Cab Savs or Bordeaux blends. You'll savor this for a while as you drink it
  • Pillar Box Padthaway Red 2006
    Sold Out $19.99
    2010 vintage available for $12.99
I was a bit taken a back by the first sip I had from this bottle, but it develops this rich almost creamy taste at some point. This is a cult hit, especially for $10
  • Menage a Trois Red Blend 2006
    Sold Out $10.29
    2012 vintage available for $8.99
This is a great wine for the price. Well balanced and smooth and tastes more expensive than it is. And who can fault a name like that.
  • Allegrini Palazzo della Torre 2001
    Sold Out $19.99
    2010 vintage available for $19.99
I bought this when it was under $20 (19.99 :) ). Different from my normal wines - feels grainier than the smoother wines I like, but it's a good change
  • Catena Malbec 2002
    Sold Out $23.99
    2012 vintage available for $18.99
Catena Malbec is always a good buy for under $20
  • Domaine Faiveley Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2003
    Sold Out $16.99
    2011 vintage available for $22.99
I have this rated as 4 out of 5 stars, but I can't really remember why. Must have been a good Pinot
  • Allegrini La Grola 2001
    Sold Out $27.99
    2009 vintage available for $29.99
One of my favorite Italian reds. The '01 vintage was good. Tried an '00 the other day and it wasn't as great. The '04 could be worth a try based on the '01 pedigree, but it's now $26
