#3 Nice find at Costco. Purchased for Christmas party 2012. Smooth and velvety with a medium finish and nice combination of fruit and spice. Well balanced and less spicy than a Shiraz. BB 12/9/12
#3 Not typically a big fan of whites, but this SB was very light and crisp on the tongue with bold pear and apple notes. A smooth and lingering finish with no residual bitterness. Could see this as a nice pair with fruit and cheese or a refreshing libation on a hot summer day. A bit too sweet with chicken. BB 12/16/12
#2 Wasn't as impressed as the reviews led me to believe, but in fairness, I didn't allow to decant as long as recommended (1 hour) and may benefit from some additional aging as optimal maturity is 2013 to 2023. Jen also thought the wine glass was fouled as well. Will need to give this one another try under better conditions. BB 12/18/12
#5 Is it the wine or the occasion? In this case it was absolutely both! Our trip to Italy included some time in Rome and a romantic dinner at Osteria dell'Antiquario. As such, an appropriately recommended vino was in order, and a 2002 vintage of Promis was brought table side and allowed to decant. Talk about anticipation! And finally, when the glass had been poured and the appropriate toast conducted....heaven. I'm convinced this was the wine that hooked Jen on reds. It's been eight years and many bottles later, but this one is still recognized as "the one". I think it may be time to give it a go again, or maybe like so many other things, best to let the romance of aging memories carry on. BB 12/18/12
#3 2012 Holiday gift from Andy Kegebein.

#4 Had this as part of an Argentina red flight at BIN 36 and was the best of four and very good. Second place was a 2010 Malbec/Syrah/Bonarda blend from La Posta del Vinatero which was very good as well. The 2011 Bonarda from Colonia Las Liebres was OK but a bit thin and without character. Heavy on minerals and a bit musty despite being young, the 2011 Tannat from Coquena was a bit offensive after having the prior three, but on its own with a bold selection of cheese or possibly lamb, it may do quite nicely. BB 12/23/12
#4 Was able to snag a 2007 vintage at Costco. Bold and balanced with a very intense berry color and taste. Smooth start to finish, this one is a keeper! BB 12/23/12
#4 Purchased 3/14/13. Didn't last long and enjoyed by our supper club guests. Need to order more and give it some focused attention. BB 3/16/13

#4 We really enjoyed this wine and paired well with grilled salmon and leeks. Not nearly as dry as most Chardonnays allowing for a more crisp and fruity finish with a light buttery smoothness. BB 4/6/13
#2 Site did not have their Millunta 2007 blend so used this label of Santa Alicia. Was a bit flat on taste with no other significant characteristics. It wasn't a bad wine, but expected more from this cab Sauvignon/cab franc/carmenere from Chile. The Reserva below rates pretty well so may have to give it a go! BB 4/13/13
#4 Very nice blend! BB 6/21/13
