screw cap wine
winemaker's notes: This Merlot is a soft, medium bodied wine with low acidity and tannins. This vintage has delightful aromas of vanilla, ripe plums and a hint of licorice spice followed by rich fruit flavors of juicy cherries and blackberries. The finish is soft and round.
winemaker's notes: Number 82 on the Wine.com 100 of 2007!Medium violet. Delicious. Aromas and flavors of blueberry, black berry with beef jerky and vanilla-spice. "Young, dark and handsome, this is an example of what Jumilla can do when good grapes and good winemaking come together. The palate is chewy and full of earthy blackberry flavors, while the finish is smooth, ripe and long. Drink now through 2008. One of the best Jumillas you're likely to find."-Wine Enthusiast
winemaker's notes: Deep, dark ruby red. Concentrated blackberry and black cherry aromas with well-integrated oak. Juicy red and black fruit highlighted with earthy notes and elegant oak that lend a creamy mouth feel. Plush with soft, rich tannins, this wine is concentrated, round and luxurious with a long finish. A great vintage! The Colchagua Valley experienced an optimum growing season with excellent ripening throughout March and April. The extended hang time resulted in ripe flavors and very soft tannins. "Inky black hue. Powerful scents of black cherry, rum cake and allspice. Velvety tannins and creamy flavors of blueberry and blackberry with hints of cinnamon and mocha. Plush tannins with cherry, chocolate and vanilla in the close."-Wine NewsTasters Choice Selection 92/100Review:3 is my highest rating under 20. Rich, and a real value.
