A bottleproviding pleasure thru it's vibrant good taste. Fruit bursting onto the palate of the drinker in a rush of cherry undergirded by delightful tanins that do not impose on the wine, but rather serve to firmly undergird this honey of a bottle. Smooth, delightful finish which trails off into a cushiony delight of a finish. I have two bottles already wrapped to give to my sister and my niece this holiday season. I really can't recommend this wine too highly. Its almost a shame to deprive the world of a dram of this nectar drinking it, yet it would be insane not to! If I were you I'd get it while the getting is good.

Had this wine for the first time the other night and by the second night the bottle was finished and I usually only have a 1/2 a glass

simply put its every thing the lable suggest.choc,coffee,rasberry all very pronounced,but none over bearing.highly recommend especially at this price

I've always enjoyed Clos Du Bois reds in the last 11 years. This one while not world class, is one to please everyone at the table. It should first hit you with some leather and of course all of the nice berry, yet you should see that all of the nice ripe red fruit will tag along right with the leather. And myself, I like that.

First tried this at a restaurant 4 years ago on a blind date. I loved the wine and talked the restaurant Mgr. into selling me six bottles. The blind date turned out to have a great wine palate, and we are now engaged. We have been drinking one bottle a year on the anniversary of our first date. And yes, it's a great wine too!

I brought this wine to a get together with friends and my bottle was the first to go, everyone thought this was a superb Chard,and for the price,WOW> Very buttery and great flavors of apples and pears and a slight citrus taste on the end.

Definitely a great buy! I really take pride in serving wine my guests love. Then, in the end telling them what a great value they enjoyed. This is one of those wines that novices will love. With it's big and pleasant fruit feel. The men will love cause of it's gusto. The wine lovers will love cause it's not just one of those good, bad wines. By all means, a crowd pleaser and superb buy. I am that party thrower that blinds their guest and reveals the winner at the end of a night. This was a recent winner. Snatch this one up!
