If you're going for a good buy; one not pricey, this would be it. The only reason I wouldn't buy this wine again is because I'm somewhat new to the wine scene, and am "finding my way." The first taste hits you with a peppery flavor...it has a weak after taste...which wasn't bad.

I really liked this wine. For the price, it is quite amazing. Smooth, nothing acrid about it and I can serve this to one certain French friend who spends copious amounts of money on wine and he enjoys it.

I disagree with the 91 pt. rating, but probably this wine needs to be kept for 2-3 more years. So if you want to drink it soon, I would not recommend it!

This wine has a Good nose, but not overpowering of alcohol smell, nice dark color. Nice raspberry aroma with tasting notes of anise and red licorice, leather, blueberry and clove on the nose. Velvety tannins that linger but are not harsh. New subtle tastes with each sip of various red fruit and spice aromas. This makes a great wine to bring to a host to share at your next invited dinner party. One that is reasonably priced and delivers well.
