Chateau Trignon

The area of Trignon is documented as a wine-growing region as far back as 1594. Purchased in 1895 by Joseph Roux, the Chateau de Trignon property, which has cultivated many different crops including wine grapes, has never stopped growing. In 1956 a new cellar was built. There they would pioneer the southern Rhone's vinification process of partial carbonic maceration. This process is what gives Chateau du Trignon wines their unique character and seductive fruit.
